Donna Chester
Donna graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2012 and with a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in 2018, with honors. After ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, she pursued her ultimate goal of becoming a Play Therapist by receiving a Master of Science in Counseling degree from Grand Canyon University in 2021, again with honors. Donna has over 5,000 therapy hours of working with all ages of children, pre-teens, adolescents, young adults and families. Her expertise and focus are working with kids who suffer from trauma using Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Art Therapy. Additionally, she has experience with DBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Talk & Walk Therapy, Eating Disorders, Adoption, Foster Care, Parenting & Teen Groups, and public speaking. She has goals to enhance her services with the ability to incorporate yoga, EMDR, and register as a National Play Therapist in the coming years. Donna enjoys being with her family, outdoors, quiet time, self-care, movies, and anything active.
