April Stanger

Hurt is a part of healing. Much like physical wounds, mental and emotional wounds also require proper care and attention in order to heal. Without it, we can obtain infections and become sick. Your mind and body deserves healing and to live life without the pain of unkempt wounds. You deserve to embrace all that you've overcome through a more empowered sense of self. However your wounds were acquired (relationships, addiction, trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, etc.) I am here to help you heal. I provide a safe, comfortable and wholly accepting space to help you heal whatever past or present wound that may be hurting you.

I am well versed in working with adults, adolescence, and children, as well as couples, families, and groups with a variety of difficulties and diagnosis. I am experienced in working with trauma, crisis, grief and loss, BPD, OCD, addictions, persons in custody, self-esteem/identity issues, faith transitions and more.

I provide individualized treatment to fit the needs of my clients. I offer support and empathy, while therapeutically confronting what issues you choose to address so that you can live and be the best version of yourself. Hurt is a part of healing and you don't have to do it alone.
